29.11.2007 Hundreds of Muslim women from across India, along with academics, social experts and parliamentarians, addressed social, livelihood, legal and religious issues of the community at the first annual convention of Bharatiya Muslim Mahila Andolan (BMMA) in Delhi. The campaign also called for the implementation of the 2006 Justice Sachar Committee report for better education and employment facilities.

Prototype of low-cost laptop
12.11.2007 Give One Get One (G1G1) campaign starting this week hopes to boost orders by providing an incentive to people in more prosperous countries. For every laptop donated for a child, the donor would get one in return. The campaign is backed by Google, Intel, eBay, News Corp and Advance Micro Devices.
