05.02.2007 In occasione del Safer Internet Day, Save the Children presenta una nuova indagine Doxa e sollecita Istituzioni e Industria ICT a garantire un utilizzo sicuro e consapevole delle nuove tecnologie. Quasi il 40% dei ragazzi, infatti, non si sente in grado di fronteggiare da solo i potenziali rischi della rete e chiede supporto e informazione. Problemi e pericoli ravvisati dai ragazzi vanno dai virus informatici, all’adescamento, al cyber-bullismo. Famiglia, scuola ma anche le industrie Ict sono coloro a cui chiedono adeguate informazioni e supporto per diventare utenti sicuri e consapevoli delle nuove tecnologie. All’uso di un telefono cellulare invece i bambini e adolescenti interpellati associano i seguenti potenziali pericoli: rischio di essere molestati dai coetanei, virus informatici, uso eccessivo del cellulare, possibili contatti con adulti che vogliono avvicinarlii, pubblicità ingannevole e videogiochi violenti e diseducativi.
